If you are new to this whole concept of programming, then you are in luck. Perhaps some of you would prefer to start off free or just dive straight into a subscription-based/relatively-cheap course, either way; it’s absolutely fine. Here are 3 websites that you can use to start learning how to code and don’t worry, there is something for everyone.

FreeCodeCamp

FreeCodeCamp

FreeCodeCamp is a completely free website that essentially teaches you how to code, in basically any programming language. This platform has everything from HTML and CSS, to React and more. They also have a YouTube channel where their videos are ad-less and very detailed, but sometimes very, very long. They have over 4000+ students enrolled with a community that inspires. FreeCodeCamp is accessible to everyone, so why haven’t you started yet? Head over there right now to begin, and did I forget to mention it’s free?

TreeHouse

TreeHouse

TreeHouse is a subscription-based platform where experts have come together to create courses that have made to ensure the student learns what is being taught thoroughly. After 1 to 2 lessons, there are practice exercises available, as well as a community forum where you can go to if you need to ask a question or are in need of help. TreeHouse offers high-quality, 300+ courses to browse from and if you really want to push it, a qualification (this is a separate payment that you could make if you wish to do so) in return for a small fee every month. Either going basic or premium, TreeHouse could be the right one for you.

Udemy

Udemy

Udemy offers a ton of courses, from absolutely nothing to £11.99. Udemy doesn’t just cover programming, they have diverged into quite a few industries for example Graphic Design, Social Media Marketing and more. As like most other course websites, there are practise exercises, quizzes and tests. Udemy have offers on quite frequently, so before anything have a look at whether there are any that fit your niche, besides they are affordable.

This is a few of many that I’ve not suggested, not to say that there aren’t more available however these were chosen because they are quite popular and also they are either free, paid monthly, or one-time fee. Be sure to check out our other posts that may interest you in our blog section.
